If your smartphone is not included in the aforementioned list, we recommend utilizing Taskbar as an alternative solution.
Taskbar is compatible with a wide range of Android smartphones and tablets. As a general rule, if your device is running Android 7.0 or later, it should work with Taskbar. However, it’s always advisable to check the application’s compatibility list on the Google Play Store or on the application’s official website to make sure it’s compatible with your mobile.
If you want to connect your device to an external display and use Taskbar in Android desktop mode, you’ll need a smartphone that supports “DisplayPort Alternate Mode” or “DP Alt Mode”. This mode enables the USB Type-C port to carry a DisplayPort signal, which can then be used to connect to an external screen or monitor. You’ll also need a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter, a docking station like our MiraDock that supports video output, a lapdock such as the MiraBook or a USB Type-C-compatible monitor.
USB Type-C is becoming increasingly common in new smartphones and tablets, but it’s always advisable to check your device’s specifications to determine its USB connectivity options.

The general appearance exudes a sense of quality:
an attractive black aluminium body decorated with the luminous Miraxess logo,
a weight of less than 1.3kg,
a comfortable french AZERTY keyboard (important to me) with deactivatable backlighting. The keyboard has other very useful specific keys and there are three indicator lights right above it (see picture of the keyboard and the documentation)

The screen is a standard 13,3-inch 1080p. I feel like there’s a little bit of light missing when I’m in a very bright place.”
I tested it last week. I have to say I found the whole experience very enjoyable. From its first appearance and feel it gave a sense of quality. Aluminium chassis rather than plastic gives a more secure feeling if device was dropped it would be robust and not prone to breakage. Very light and non-bulky requires little space. Convenient keyboard backlight.
Initial set up very convenient and intuitive. Basically, power on and connect phone. Conveniently charges mobile phone while connect. Used the touchpad put also catered for plug and play wireless mouse/keyboard no fuss no download. Connected to larger screen via HDMI. Again, very straightforward. However, I could not maximise on larger screen. Maybe this is not an available function. Did not research or maybe it was just a user problem on the day. Me being the user.
Overall, I enjoyed the quick test of the Mirabook device. It was very convenient all-round. No technical experience or knowledge required. Straight from box to usage no fuss no hassle. This device offers a laptop experience which I found familiar. Screen navigation and user friendly is priority with this device. I found at a personal level it was an extremely useful device considering that I was able to use my phone without having to strain my eyesight peering at a mobile screen and it also mitigated the potential typos often associated with the smaller mobile keyboard. From a enterprise perspective I would recommend it
I received my Mirabook one year ago. Since I had ordered it, I had switched to iPhone and had to park the Mirabook for some time.
I’m now back on Android and have therefore been able to take my Mirabook out of its box! I’ve been able to connect to my Android smartphone seamlessly and it is a great experience.
